Students currently in grade 8 and above are eligible to attend these webinars. Students and parents may attend one or more webinars. I strongly recommend all the 3 webinars.

Webinars will be offered on following Saturdays:
January 14, 2023 @ 11:00 AM Pacific/1:00 PM Central / 2:00 PM Eastern:
Topic: Extracurricular Activities: Summer Planning for 2023

A student’s extracurricular profile has become a significant factor in college admissions, speaking volumes to a student’s intellectual curiosity, personal excellence, and character. So how do you go about building one? Should a student display a wide variety of interests, or deep interest in a single field? Do colleges care about the quantity over quality of activities? How can you distinguish yourself from other applicants? This is the time to showcase to colleges your passions and accomplishments outside of the classroom.

January 21, 2023 @ 11:00 AM Pacific/1:00 PM Central / 2:00 PM Eastern:

Analyze early application results for the Class of 2023 with FLEX’s expert counselors! This year’s early application results give indications of how colleges have continued to adapt to the changing college admissions landscape including testing policies and a more socially-minded, less achievement-driven admissions process.

Get the statistics on FLEX’s Early Round Decisions to see what worked (and what did not) and for a chance to meet some of our counselors who supported these students in getting into their target colleges!

January 28, 2023 @ 11:00 AM Pacific/ 1:00 PM Central / 2:00 PM Eastern:
Topic: Standardized Testing in College Admissions – A Changing Landscape
The role of standardized testing has shifted greatly over the last few years, and students need to adjust accordingly. With the advent of test-optional policies in response to decreased testing availability during COVID-19, along with the elimination of the SAT and SAT Subject Tests, how should students think about the SAT and AP exams?

In this webinar, also learn about the importance of AP exams in College Admissions. With SAT Exams becoming optional for many universities, Advanced Placement classes can set applicants apart in a competitive college admissions environment, demonstrating the ability to perform well on more challenging coursework. Hear from the experts about how to maximize your standardized testing strategy in college admissions.
