Naidu Announces Amaravathi School of Linguistics Chair At Silicon Andhra

Chandrababu Naidu announced Amaravathi School of Linguistics Chair at the University of Silicon Andhra with a million dollar fund.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced Amaravathi School of Linguistics Chair at the University of Silicon Andhra with a million dollar fund. He also assured cooperation from the government for the development of the University.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited University of Silicon Andhra as part of his US visit on Saturday morning.

Executive committee of the University, Dilip Kondiparti, Raju Chamarti, Deenubabu Kondubhotla, Ajay Ganti, and others welcomed Naidu, Finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Dr. Parakala Prabhakar and others amidst Vedic chants.

The university offers Master of Arts, Diploma and Certificate programmes in Indian fine arts, carnatic music and Kuchipudi dance.

It is the first University in America that offers degrees and diplomas in fine arts. The chief minister visited all the blocks in the university. He watched photo gallery with interest and lauded the activities of Silicon Andhra.

Speaking on this occasion, Naidu appreciated the efforts of Silicon Andhra for protecting the Telugu culture and traditions in America. He said that it should be an ideal to others. He pointed out that many Telugu people who were successful in various fields are living in America. He also lauded the way Silicon Andhra is protecting the culture and the language.

Naidu released Manabadi 10-year-celebration logo. He appreciated that Manabadi created a new trend in passing on Telugu language to future generations.

Silicon Andhra President Anand Kuchibhotla, Dr. Lakireddy Hanimi Reddy felicitated the chief minister. They thanked APNRT president Dr. Vemuri Ravi, Dr. Raja, Salmon Raja, Sagar Doddapaneni, and Sasi Kumar.

Later, 48 members of Silicon Andhra started a  Run 4 Telugu,as part of the prestigious 191 miles marathon in San Francisco. The 48 members formed four teams to introduce Telugu language and culture to the world and to make the CM’s America visit a grand success.  A large number of supporters, fans and well-wishers of the Chief Minister were also present at the event.
